Nikki Gour has made a life long choice to study, teach, and create art. Nikki is available for bookings for art workshops where Nikki will demonstrate her expertise in creating art based on her own practice “Process Art Using Found Objects” Nikki strongly believes that it is important for students especially in high school to learn more about contemporary art, for it is a type of art that is supported and promoted within society today.

Workshop: "Process Art Using Found Objects"

A presentation shown will include the basic fundamentals of Process Art as a contemporary art form in relation to my art practice. The students will then brake into small groups, as they will have time to brainstorm ideas based on questions given, to create a sculpture using the process discussed in the presentation.

Time will then be given, for students to create a sculpture out of materials that they have brought. At the end of the day there will be a class critique on all sculptures created. This is the basis of my workshop; however I am open to new ideas and am willing to work with the needs and requirements of the school.
